Tom Pemberton is the owner of Pemberton Financial Planning, an independent fee-only financial advisory service providing objective, impartial advice on investments, retirement, and estate planning for an hourly fee.
Tom is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Registered Investment Adviser with 35 years of investment experience as a Senior Vice President and Senior Trader with Bank of America as a trust officer, portfolio manager, and trader. He has a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and the National Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
Tom has been a CFP® education instructor since 2007 and is currently an instructor for various CFP® education programs teaching CFP® Exam Review, Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Insurance, Tax, Retirement Savings and Income Planning, Case Study, Employee Benefits, Estates, and Investment Planning.
