Scott Monson

Department of Financial Planning Education

Scott Monson has been a financial advisor for 28 years, working with individuals, families, and small businesses in all facets of financial planning. He finished his undergraduate degree in international relations from Brigham Young University and completed an MBA from Westminster University in Salt Lake City. He has been a CFP® practitioner since the early days of his career and added the BFA™ designation a few years ago, knowing that the behavioral aspects of planning are also critical.

Scott loves the financial planning profession and helping others to achieve their financial goals, as well as the lifetime relationships that come from being a valued and trusted partner. He lives in Saratoga Springs, Utah, where he enjoys skiing, tennis, wake surfing, writing music, and being with his amazing wife, five awesome children, and beautiful grandchildren. He has enjoyed his education and career and hopes to be a good resource to help students enjoy theirs as well.
