Rachel Seton
Hello CFFP Alumni! My name is Rachel Seton, and I’m the Student and Alumni Engagement Advisor for the College for Financial Planning – A Kaplan Company. I bring over 10 years of experience in education, having worked across both public and private sectors in K–12 and higher education.
In my current role, I support two key areas of the college. First, I focus on fostering meaningful connections with our alumni by creating opportunities for engagement and continued involvement. Second, I help manage our Financial Planner Professional Community—a digital space where students, faculty, and alumni can connect, collaborate, and access academic and professional resources. Whether it’s curating helpful content or guiding others through their educational journey, I’m passionate about building a strong, vibrant network of support.
I hold a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Hawaii Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in History from Eastern Michigan University. I truly enjoy helping others feel connected and empowered through relationship-building.
Outside of work, I love exploring national parks—my adventures have taken me as far as Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park! When I’m home, I enjoy taking long walks with my dogs and treating myself to a fresh set of nails as a little act of self-care.
I truly enjoy getting to know the people in our community, so please don’t hesitate to reach out and connect! You can contact me anytime at rachel.seton@cffp.edu. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey at the College for Financial Planning!
