Philip D’Unger

Department of Financial Planning Education

Philip D’Unger, CFP®, CPWA®, has been in the financial services industry since 2011. His focus has been working directly with clients on their financial plans and with financial advisors as a resource for financial planning strategies. Philip enjoys all aspects of financial planning but specifically helping clients in the areas of estate, tax, and retirement planning.

Philip earned his Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning and his bachelor’s degree in history from Furman University. Philip earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2013 and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation in 2020. In addition to the CFP® and CPWA® designations, Philip also holds the Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®), Chartered Retirement Plan CounselorSM (CRPC®), Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®), and Accredited Domestic Partnership AdvisorSM (ADPA®) designations as well as FINRA Series 7, 65, and 9/10 licenses.
