Kathleen Dennis

Department of Financial Literacy

Kathleen Dennis, CFP®, CHFC®, CASL®, AAMS®, is a Wealth Management Instructor at the College for Financial Planning. She has an extensive background in financial services and financial services education. During her career, she has worked with clients and financial professionals as a Fortune 50 trainer, practice management consultant, advance planning expert, sales coach, tutor, and senior financial advisor. She is a Janek® Certified Sales Coach, Novation Certified Enterprise Trainer, and Speakeasy Certified Presenter.

Kathleen is responsible for the delivery and course revisions of the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Practitioner (FPQP®), Accredited Account Management Specialist (AAMS®), and Wealth Management Specialist (WMSSM) education programs. In addition to this role, she revises curricula for the Retirement Savings and Income Planning (FP515) course and the Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®) Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation programs. She also teaches the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics continuing education course.

In addition to her previously mentioned certifications and designations, Kathleen has held FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, 7, and 8 licenses, along with her life and health license. Kathleen is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
