Edward Clark

Department of Financial Planning Education

Ed Clark, MSPFP, MPAS®, ChFC®, CASL®, CRPC®, AWMA®, began his career in 1994 as a property/casualty actuary with State Farm. He transitioned to being a State Farm agent in 1999 and continues in that role today, managing his agency and focusing on insurance and investment planning with clients. Though he does not currently hold the CFP® mark because of firm restrictions, he successfully completed the CFP® curriculum in 2003 and held the CFP® mark until the end of 2008. Ed began his teaching career in 2003 and stays busy teaching all courses in the CFP® education program, including review courses for the CFP® certification exam. He also serves on the grading team for the Capstone course and assists with content development. He completed his Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning through the College for Financial Planning and has also focused throughout his career on continuing education, achieving several other professional designations as well.
