
Cindy Riecke, MS, CFP®, CRPC®, FPQP®, ChFC®, CLU®, is a Professor at the College for Financial Planning. In her role, she oversees the development, design, and delivery of the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®), Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS®), and Wealth Management Specialist℠ (WMSSM) programs. She also co-chairs the College’s Student Learning Committee and serves on both the Committee for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Graduate School Admissions Committee.
Cindy began her career in financial planning education as a training manager for a leading insurance and financial services provider serving the Americas. She later spent 14 years as Senior Director of Content Development for Kaplan Professional before joining the College’s academic team in 2018. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Cindy earned a Master of Science in Finance from Purdue University Global and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. She is a CFP® professional and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations. She previously served as Chair of the CFP Board Council on Education and remains an active member of the Financial Planning Association and other professional organizations.
