Alicia Rubio

Department of Financial Planning Education

Dr. Alicia Rubio has over 20 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate classes. She has been teaching financial planning courses for over 10 years. She enjoys doing pro-bono financial counseling with women and young adults. Alicia earned her Ph.D. in Family and Consumer Economics from Purdue University. Her research has been published in the Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning and the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal, among others. Alicia’s primary research interest is minority households’ economic decisions.
