Alexander Lacour
Department of Financial Literacy
Alexander Lacour is an instructor and a contributor to the development, design, and delivery of the Qualified Personal Finance Educator (QPFE) program, which educates high school teachers in financial literacy. He has more than15 years of experience in secondary education, in both the U.S. and abroad, and is a former financial services representative. Alex engages his students by connecting concepts to their real-world circumstances.
Alex graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a concentration in Secondary Education. He is married to Megan, and they have four children. Alex has spent time abroad and enjoys international missionary service.
