2026 Alumni Cross-Credential Award Winner

Jeremy Eppley

CFA®, CFP®, CPWA®, MSFP

We are thrilled to grant Jeremy Eppley the 2026 Alumni Cross-Credential Award in recognition of his extraordinary professional development and mastery across multiple disciplines in financial planning. A graduate of Towson University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Eppley earned his M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in December 2023 with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

At age 21, Eppley founded Silverstone Financial, a fee-only, fiduciary Registered Investment Adviser in Owings Mills, Maryland, in August 2021. In just five years, he has grown the firm to approximately $30 million in assets under management while serving as both primary advisor and Chief Compliance Officer. Simultaneously, he has earned nine professional designations: CFA®, CFP®, CPWA®, MSFP, AIF®, APMA®, CBDA®, CRPC®, and MPAS®—all earned sequentially between 2021 and 2026.

Beyond his firm, Eppley is deeply committed to advancing the profession. He serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland, co-chairing the NexGen and Education committees, and volunteers with the FPA NexGen Student Engagement Subcommittee nationally. Beginning September 2026, he joins NAPFA as Genesis Treasurer. He taught FPLN 341: Fundamentals of Financial Planning at Towson University in Fall 2024 at age 24. Eppley has been featured in the New York Times and Bloomberg and is contributing articles to Kitces.com.
