The College provides computerized online testing, which permits you to conveniently test when you feel prepared. The College's examinations are administered at participating PSI Testing Centers, Prometric Centers, or Schroeder Measurement Technologies ISO Quality Professional Testing Centers ("ISO"). Under special circumstances, one may test using an individual proctor.
If you do not pass a course exam Professional Designation students who are unsuccessful on their exam must test at a testing site and pay a testing fee for each exam; there are no free retakes.CFP Certification Professional Education Program students may retest once at no additional charge (other than any applicable testing center fees). For each subsequent retest, an exam rescheduling fee of $100 must be paid directly to the College. To allow time for additional studying, you must wait 24 hours from receipt of payment before retaking the exam.
Special Testing SessionsAlternate testing arrangements may be made if you have medical reasons requiring special provisions. A written request for such arrangements should accompany your application for enrollment, or you may send an e-mail to cffpssc@apollogrp.edu.

Scheduling Your Exam
Step one: Contact the College for Financial Planning's Student Services Center at 1-800-237-9990 Option 2 and pay a non-refundable testing fee. This will ensure testing eligibility with any of the College's testing vendors. Students who enrolled in the College's Professional Designation programs after January 1, 2010, paid one testing fee upon enrollment.
Step two: Contact a testing vendor and schedule an exam online or at the number listed below to schedule an appointment and locate a testing site equipped to access the College's exams.

If you are planning on using the course for State Insurance CE credit, view your state's proctor requirements before arranging to test at a testing center.
This option is only available under specific circumstances. It allows you to find a disinterested third party—someone with whom you have no business or family relationship—to register as your proctor. Business relationship is further defined as working within the same company regardless of physical location, title, or position. Your proctor is responsible for ensuring that you meet the requirements for legitimate completion of the exam. The examination must be administered on a computer with an Internet connection. You may not use your study materials or any other type of outside assistance during the end-of-course examination. If you select an individual proctor, you are responsible for any costs associated with the use of a computer and the Internet. The exam may be taken at any location upon which you and your proctor agree.

You are strongly encouraged to take our Online Testing demonstration exam prior to testing. To access the Online Testing demonstration, please click the Online Testing link below. After reviewing online instructions on how to operate and navigate the test site, you are able to complete your exam and submit it over the Internet. Exam results are immediately sent back to you at your computer.
Because State Insurance Continuing Education Credit is regulated by individual States' agencies, some states have very restrictive rules regarding forms, proctors and procedures. If you plan to apply for State Insurance CE credit, it is critical that you visit our State Insurance CE pages for information and requirements specific to your State BEFORE YOU SELECT AN ONLINE TESTING OPTION.
When you take courses through the Continuing Education area of the site, your tests are given as a regular part of the course. The requirements listed in the “Online Testing for College Programs” section above will not apply for these tests.
