DON'T ASSUME YOU WILL PASS THE EXAM WITHOUT A THOROUGH REVIEW!

In order to become a practicing CFP® certificant, you must pass the CFP Board's comprehensive two-day examination. It costs nearly $600 to sit for the Exam, so it is prudent to spend additional time and money preparing in order to avoid a costly retest. Don't make the mistake of going unprepared!

The certification examination is based on the five distinct areas of financial planning, and you must have complete knowledge of each area in order to perform well on the exam. The five areas are:

  1. Financial Planning Process & Insurance
  2. Investment Planning
  3. Income Tax Planning
  4. Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits
  5. Estate Planning

While your background probably includes experience in one or more of these areas, you need to review all of these areas to assure success on the exam.

2010 ELITE CFP® CERTIFICATION EXAM REVIEW

If you need a comprehensive review, you should consider the Elite CFP® Certification Exam Review Package. The package starts with a roadmap on how and what to study and then goes into a thorough review of the five subject matter areas of the CFP Certification Professional Education Program—the same five areas you will see on the Board Exam. You’ll receive three different types of tests, including one on case analyses—all with questions very similar to those that you might see on the Exam. You will get nine volumes in all,

  • Getting Started with the CFP® Certification Exam Review
  • Synopsis Part 1: Financial Planning Process & Insurance
  • Synopsis Part 2: Investment Planning
  • Synopsis Part 3: Income Tax Planning
  • Synopsis Part 4: Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits
  • Synopsis Part 5: Estate Planning
  • Sample Test: Volume 1
  • Sample Test: Volume 2
  • Sample Test: Case Analyses

In addition to the above text, you’ll receive,

  • Five Multiple-Choice Workbooks
  • Access to the CFP Internet Exam Review

In the five Multiple-Choice Workbooks you’ll find approximately 100 multiple-choice questions that are linked to specific learning objectives from the CFP Program curriculum, allowing you to test your knowledge in specific areas.

And the CFP Internet Exam Review includes hundreds of additional questions to help test your knowledge of the primary subject areas. You can access the CFP Internet Exam Review from any computer that has Internet access, making it convenient for you to review from home, from the office, or while on the road. Try a few questions every day, or go through a whole set of questions to get the feeling of what the Exam will be like.

You’ll also get access to the faculty who teach the topics in order to help go through any unfamiliar concepts. You won't find this level of personal service elsewhere!

You can dramatically increase your chances of passing the Exam on your first attempt with the Elite package. Remember, there is a lot riding on the results of the Exam, so the extra practice will be extremely valuable, and could be the difference between passing on your first attempt or having to take the Exam again!
