Mon., Sept. 6: In observance of Labor Day, the College for Financial Planning will be closed. Online testing will be available; however, online testing support will not be available.
The College for Financial Planning offers a variety of courses that qualify for continuing education (CE) credit with organizations such as the CFP Board, NASBA, certain State Board of Accountancies and State Insurance Departments. Additionally, most Firm Element CE requirements can be satisfied with certain CE courses taken with the College. All College CE courses qualify towards the College for Financial Planning's professional designations CE requirement and are exempt from the College's CE audit process.
Because each regulatory organization establishes its own standards for continuing education and are subject to change, please check with your regulatory body to make sure that courses qualify.

An annual subscription to CE OneSource® entitles you to take as many professional education online courses as you like for an entire year from the date of your subscription. You can select from topics in general principles of financial planning, insurance, investments, management, taxes, retirement and estate planning.
CE OneSource® courses are registered with CFP Board for CE credit and includes the CFP Board-approved Code of Ethics online course. These courses are applicable towards the College's designation CE requirements.

CFP® certificants have come to rely on this convenient method to fulfill the CFP Board's biennial Code of Ethics CE requirement.
This course, available online, presents complete information on CFP Board’s Code of Ethics including the rules, principles and disciplinary process. The online format provides downloadable Code of Ethics, FAQs, sample disclosure forms content, a two-hour audio presentation, and an online exam.
Code of Ethics course exams must be passed with an 80% or higher to qualify for Continuing Education with the CFP Board.

The College provides CFP® certificants a convenient way to fulfill the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Code of Ethics requirement via a live webinar. This two-hour session includes information on incorporating new and existing rules and principles into your everyday professional activities. Upon completion of the webinar, the College will automatically submit two CE hours to CFP Board.

These designation programs are offered in three convenient study options including online, self-study or virtual classroom. All of the College for Financial Planning's professional designations are either approved, exempt, or receive preferential treatment in all the regulations and legislation thus far enacted at the state and national levels regarding the use of professional designations due to the College's status as a regionally-accredited institution of higher education.

Many students are looking for more in-depth educational opportunities as they fulfill CE requirements. The College's graduate degree courses present advanced-level content for those seeking intellectual stimulation. Most qualify for CFP Board CE credit. Payments and fees for CE courses are non-refundable. Students have one year from purchase date to successfully complete the course. You must achieve a score of 70% or higher (80% for Code of Ethics courses) on the end-of-course assessment to successfully pass the course.
Students have two attempts to pass the final exam. If the second testing attempt is unsuccessful, the student will need to contact the Student Services Center at CFFPSSC@CFFP.edu or 800-237-9990.
The College for Financial Planning is a registered CE Sponsor with CFP Board, NASBA, New Jersey State Board of Accountancy, Texas State Board of Accountancy and all state insurance departments that require sponsor registration.
